Several different drivers drove the Vasek Polak cars over the year, though the primary drivers were George Follmer and Hurley Haywood. Throughout the season, Follmer battled not only his teammate, but also the well-driven Porsches of Al Holbert and Ludwig Heimrath. In the final event Follmer led from flag-to-flag, earning himself a nine-point advantage and the title Trans-Am Champion! |
