1977 Le Mans 24 Hours, JMS Racing "X-Ray" 934, driven by Bousquet, Grandet & Dagoreau

The drivers of the JMS Racing-entered Porsche 934 didn't make life easy for their pit crew: the stunning looking "X-Ray" car left the road twice! In addition to bodywork repairs that left the black Porsche looking very badly abused by the end of the 24 Hours, the mechanics also toiled to replace a turbocharger on Sunday morning, delaying progress considerably.

Nevertheless, the all-French trio of Jean-Louis Bousquet, Cyril Grandet (who was originally slated to drive the team's "X-Ray" 935 which finished 3rd overall and 1st in Group 5), and Philippe Dagoreau finished in 19th place overall.

When the checkered flag fell, the "X-Ray" 934 had secured a third in Group 4 by covering 2,144.88 miles at an average speed of 89.37mph. The Kremer-entered Burton 934 took victory in Group 4, in 7th place overall... the only other 934 to finish the grueling event.
